Skeleton Key On-Screen Keyboard

Skeleton Key is software that helps you use a computer and communicate when you can't use a keyboard and/or mouse. Skeleton Key has powerful features that you can customize for your own needs, yet it is easy to start using Skeleton Key. Download it now, or view a slideshow.

I'm Dov Wisebrod. I've had Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS or MND) since 1994. I needed an alternative access and communication device, but I wasn't satisfied with other products. So I created Skeleton Key for myself, and I'm happy to share it with you. You can download and try it free.

In one program, at one low price ($99), Skeleton Key has popular features that other products offer separately and at higher prices: text-to-speech, word prediction, scanning cursors, abbreviation expansion, and dwell clicking. Plus, advanced features exclusive to Skeleton Key.

You control Skeleton Key by selecting keys from an on-screen keyboard. You can select keys with the mouse, or you can use scanning, where Skeleton Key highlights keys and you use one or two switches to select them. I operate Skeleton Key by scanning with one switch on my toe.

The keyboard is highly customizable. You can have the look-and-feel of a real keyboard, or you can easily create and modify custom keyboards. Each key can be styled independently and can have one of many keyboard, mouse, speech and other powerful computer functions.

Please browse the website for more information. You can also view a slideshow with screenshots and examples. Then download and try Skeleton Key free. If you have any questions, please see the Forum or send me e-mail. Thanks for visiting Skeleton Key!
